Department: Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport Location: Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government Salary: R237 453 - R279 708 per annum (Level 05) Requirements: Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification). Competencies: Basic knowledge of the following: financial functions, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collate financial statistics; insight of the Public Service financial legislations, procedures and Treasury regulations Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Division of Revenue Act (DORA), Public Service Act (PSA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA),Financial Manual; financial operating systems Personnel and Salary System(PERSAL), Basic Accounting System (BAS), Logistical Information System (LOGIS). Skills in the following: Numeracy; Literacy; Language skill; Computer Skills; Planning and organisation; Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to perform routine tasks; Ability to operate office equipment’s. Duties: Render clerical support services with regard to assurance services, and governance, fraud and losses management services; Perform general administrative tasks within the Internal Control unit; Perform Financial Accounting and Salary Administration support services; Perform bookkeeping and budget support services. Requirements
