About this role

Department: Department of Social Development Location: Western Cape Mobility Department, Western Cape Government Salary: R237 453 - R279 708 per annum (Level 05) Requirements: Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification). Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology; Applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, policies and standards; Public Service financial legislations, processes and procedures. Skills in the following: Numeracy skills; Literacy skills; Language skills; Computer literacy. Duties: General Administration including procure goods and services, process payments, draft and type documentation, maintain databases and registers; Execute meetings and event logistics including scheduling, preparing minutes, following up on actions, making travel arrangements; Provide project support, including handling enquiries; Execute effective document management.
