Department: Department of Infrastructure Location: Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government Salary: R338 106 - R398 277 per annum (Level 07) Requirements: An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 year working experience in an administrative environment. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Financial and administrative prescripts governing the public sector, the Western Cape Government, and the Department; Legislation, regulations, policies, and prescripts that are relevant to the Department and the component; General office administration processes; Database and information management processes; Project administration processes; Record-keeping legislation, regulations, policies, prescripts and processes; People management prescripts, policies and processes. Skills in the following: Numeracy; Driving; Typing; Computer Literacy; Language skills; Project Management; Accounting Finance and Audit; Information Technology; Formal Training; Economic, financial analysis; Legal Administration; Strategic Planning. Duties: Assist to supervise the accurate and timeous processing and flow of subsidy applications; Supervise the rendering of effective liaison services to all role players; Assist with the management and maintenance of the Housing Subsidy System; Training and logistical support; Perform supervisory functions. Requirements
