Department: Department of Social Development Location: Western Cape Mobility Department, Western Cape Government Salary: R338 106 - R398 277 per annum (Level 07) Requirements: An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification); A minimum of 1-year administrative support experience. Competencies: Knowledge and understanding of the following: National Land Transport Act (Act No.5 of 2009); applications for operating licenses.; preparation of cases for the cancellation of operating licenses; how to notify operators of renewals; publication of operating license applications in the Government gazette; administration and database management; general support systems; Record Management/Administration; Knowledge of administrative procedures and processes. Skills: Numeracy; Literacy; Computer Literacy; Language; Project Management; Accounting, Finance and Audit; Economic, Financial and Statistical Analysis; Legal Administration. Other: Reporting; Problem-solving; Communication; Planning; Organising; Research; Ability to work under pressure; Willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines.
