Department: Department of Social Development Location: Western Cape Mobility Department, Western Cape Government. Salary: R338 106 - R398 277 per annum (Level 07) Requirements: An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification). A minimum of 1–year relevant administrative support experience. Competencies: Knowledge of and working experience of the following: Legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to the line function; information systems that support the management of knowledge and information relating to the line function; administrative procedures and processes; project management functions; project coordination and project-related analytics; designing and implementing data collection tools; collecting and analysing data; ensuring data quality and managing data and related information; monitoring and evaluation tools; data verification and analysis; creating dashboards and developing monitoring and 256 evaluation tools; data management and data integrity; information and records management/administration; operational management practices; procurement and tendering processes. Skills: numeracy; literacy; computer literacy; language proficiency; project management; legal administration. Others: communication; research; analytical skills; organising; planning; time management; problem-solving; record keeping and minute taking; ability to work under pressure; willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines; ability to draft submissions, memoranda, reports, plans and letters; well-developed ability to build credibility, trust and cooperation through interpersonal interactions; no criminal record. Duties: Render support with the development and maintenance of training policies and processes as part of the External Governance of the Quality Management System; Render support with the monitoring of all quality assurance (administrative aspects) to ensure compliance with all other relevant policies and procedures as part of the Internal Governance process; Render support with the monitoring to ensure compliance and relevance of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s); Render line administrative support services to the Sub- Directorate; Research and development.
