Department: Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Location: Sekhukhune district 250 Salary: R487 197 per annum (Level 09) Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric certificate and a qualification at NQF level 6 in Office Administration/Public Administration/ Public Management/ Horticulturist/ Property Management. 3-5 years relevant experience at supervisory level / Senior / Admin Officer in Facilities or Property Management environment, at least 3 years in supervisory position· A valid driver’s license with the exception of applicants with disabilities Knowledge And Skills: Knowledge of relevant Public Service Acts, regulations and frameworks. Knowledge and understanding of policy analysis, development and interpretation. Knowledge in office management and administration. Strategic capability and leadership. Problem solving and analysis. Duties: Manage landscaping services: Develop landscaping plans for the district. Monitor budget for landscaping services. Manage procurement of protective clothing for the district. Manage and provide specifications for procurement of landscaping equipment and materials. Manage repairs and servicing landscaping equipment. Manage allocation of groundsmen to serve the district office and cost centres. Monitor adherence to occupational health and safety practices. Monitor EPWP projects in terms of landscaping. Manage cleaning services: Develop cleaning plans for the district. Monitor budget for cleaning services. Manage procurement of protective clothing for the district. Manage and provide specifications for procurement of cleaning equipment and materials. Manage repairs and servicing of cleaning equipment. Manage and monitor the distribution of cleaning material and chemicals. Manage allocation of cleaners to serve the district office and cost centres. Monitor adherence to occupational health and safety practices. Monitor EPWP projects in terms of cleaning services. Provide cost centre support: Provide cleaning and landscaping in the cost centre. Facilitate cost centre human resource matters. Facilitate cost centre auxiliary matters. Issuing of government vehicle, Safekeeping of keys and fuel cards, Facilitate exemption to drive after working hours, Reporting of accidents report. Provide waste management services: Develop waste management plan. Facilitate sorting and shredding of waste paper. Liaise with service provider with regard to collection of packaged wastepaper. Receive monthly income reports generated through waste management. Provide resource (Human, Financial and Equipment): Monitor and report on the utilisation of equipment’s. Evaluate and monitor performance and appraisal of employees. Ensure capacity and development of staff. Enhance and maintain employee motivation and cultivate a culture of performanc

Requirements
