About this role
Department: Department of Health and Wellness Location: Matzikama Sub-District Salary: R144 024 per annum Requirements: Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy. Experience: Appropriate experience in transportation of personnel and goods in a health environment. Inherent requirements of the job: Valid Code (Code B/EB) driver’s license and willingness to travel. Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP). Willingness to work overtime and to perform standby duties, including weekends and public holidays. Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and objects. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to accept accountability and responsibility and to work independently and unsupervised. Knowledge of routine, maintenance inspections for defects on vehicles and safe driving skills. Must be of sober habits. Duties: Transporting personnel, patients, equipment and supplies. Maintenance of vehicles. Perform administrative duties. Render support function to supervisor and oral health team.
