About this role
Department: Department of Health and Wellness Location: Karl Bremer Hospital Salary: R170 226 per annum Requirements: Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) / Grade 9 / STD7. Experience: Appropriate supervisory experience of staff and mortuary administration. Inherent requirements of the job: A Valid driver’s licence. Willingness to work night shifts, public holidays, weekends, overtime and be on standby. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Computer skills (MS Office, Excel and Word). Knowledge of applicable death administration legislations and relevant policies. Knowledge of infection prevention and control. Duties: Responsible for overall supervision and management of Porters. Management of mortuary equipment, assets and consumables. Ensure effective and efficient mortuary administration and handling of bodies.
