Department: Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources Location: Springbok, Kimberley Salary: R237 453 per annum (Level 05) Requirements: A Grade 12 (NQF4) with a Grade C PSIRA Certificate, 1 year experience as a Security Guard and a Drivers Licence, Knowledge of: Security legislation, 119 policies and, Procedures, Access control procedures, Safety precautions, Security registers, Skills: Problem solving skills, Communication skills (verbal and written), Thinking demand: Innovative and Pro-active thinking, Analytical mind. Duties: Execute access control and monitor movements within and between buildings. Conduct routine inspections and security rounds. Prevention of unauthorised removal of departmental assets. Respond to alarm activations and security incidents. Operate Control Room Security Equipment. Support Ministerial and departmental events.
