Requirements

Grade 12 plus an NQF 6 qualification in Business Management or equivalent as recognized by SAQA. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience of which two (2) years must be at supervisory level. Valid driver’s license (with exception of person(s) with disability. Skills And Knowledge: Knowledge of MSMES Development, Cooperatives Development, MSMES finance and Aftercare services for MSMES, Business Planning, Managerial skills. Computer literacy. Knowledge of relevant acts, directives and resolutions. Communication and negotiation skills. Policy formulation skills. Conflict management and problem-solving skills.

Duties

Provide appropriate business development information to MSMES and cooperatives as well as sector Departments and local municipalities. Ensure implementation of business development support programmes. Increase competitiveness of businesses through implementation of Training programmes, quality and productivity programmes, Technology support programmes. Monitor the provision of funds to Enterprises. Ensure provision of infrastructure to cooperatives. Increase institutional compliance to relevant statutes. Monitor implementation of marketing programmes. Assist enterprises to participate in exhibitions/trade shows. Implement entrepreneurship awareness campaigns. Monitor the implementation of business development programmes by parastatals. Ensure the provision of financial and non-financial services. Monitor compliance to financial and corporate governance by parastatals. Monitoring the performance of all the District Services of Enterprise Development
