Requirements

A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Event Management or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA. 3 - 5 years’ experience at supervisory level in the same or related field. Valid Driver’s Licence (Except for people with disabilities). Core And Process Competencies: Strategic Capability and Leadership, People Management and Empowerment, Programme and Project Management, Financial Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Delivery Innovation, Problem Solving and Analysis, Client Orientation and Customer Focus, Communication. Duties

Coordinate departmental calendar of events. Develop and implement events management plan for all the events. Coordinate events management workshops. Coordinate standard departmental guest list. Supervise subordinates in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
