Requirements

An undergraduate qualification in Accounting/ Financial Management (NQF Level 6) as recognised by SAQA; plus A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in a revenue, expenditure and e-NaTIS environment; plus A valid driver’s licence (minimum Code B). Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (Act 1 of 1999). Knowledge of National Road Traffic Act (Act 93 of 1996). Knowledge of Provincial Road Traffic Act (Act 7 of 1997). Knowledge of Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic conditions of employment Act. Knowledge of Skills development Act. Knowledge of Delegations of Authority pertaining to the Department of Transport. Knowledge of Financial Audit procedure. Knowledge of Human Resource Management Principles. Knowledge of National Traffic Information System (e-NaTIS). Basic knowledge of accounting system (BAS). Knowledge of PERSAL. Computer literacy. Good Verbal and written Communication skills. Good interpersonal relations skills. Problem solving skills. Policy development and analysis skills. Management and supervisory skills. Planning and co-ordinating skills. Duties

Facilitate the provision of budgetary and expenditure control services. Ensure the effective provision of revenue control services. Co-ordinate effective debt control management services. Provide advice and guidance and input to policy. Manage resources of the Division.
