Requirements

A recognised NQF 6 qualification in Economics, International Relations, Business studies, Development Studies or related qualifications. Four (4) years’ experience in Investment Facilitation and Promotion of which two (2) years must be at a Senior practitioner level or equivalent. Experience in Tourism and Hospitality will be added advantage. Tourism management and development. Economic environment. Investment environment. Project management. Stakeholder management. Financial management. Computer literacy. Interpersonal skills. Client orientation. Communication (written and verbal). Planning and organising skills. A valid driver’s licence (Persons with disabilities that prevent them from driving will still be considered). 72

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in compiling an investment project portfolio; Assisting in developing strategy and manage investment promotion; Enhancing brand recognition and promote products or services; Assisting in developing new products or services, or discontinuing them, or decisions on related research and development programs; Conducting market investment analysis; Advising on foreign direct investment; Assisting in developing and promoting local direct investment; Assisting in the identification, packaging and marketing of potential investment opportunities, and the identification of potential investors; Providing general information on the investment and domestic business climate, and offers dedicated aftercare services to investor; Facilitating and manage strategic funding partnerships; Facilitating public-private partnership agreements; Coordinating a risk assessment to determine the material risks to; Coordinating the selection, prioritization, development and management of new or renewed partnership.
