Requirements

An NQF level 7 qualification in Speech Therapy and Audiology as recognised by SAQA. Valid and active registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Speech Therapist and Audiologist. Minimum of 3 years’ appropriate experience after Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in Speech Therapy and Audiology field. Competencies. Knowledge

Render speech therapy and audiology services to all learners in need. Support Educators and support staff on implementation of SIAS policies. Facilitate Screening and assessment of learners for enrolment. transfer purposes. Compilation of medical reports for social grant. Sports and administrative purposes. Compilation of speech therapy monthly reports and statistics of all schools. Compilation of Speech therapy needs for all schools. Stakeholder engagement and participation for advocacy. e.g. disability forums. Facilitate
