Grade12 or, equivalent qualification, plus Basic R425 qualification i.e Diploma/Degree in nursing or equivalent qualification allows registration with SANC as a Professional. Current registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. A post-basic nursing basic nursing qualification with a duration of at least 1 year, accredited with SANC in case of Government Notice No. R212 in the relevant specialty’s minimum of 4 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in general nurse.
