Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Family Physician. Registration with a Professional Council: Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Medical Specialist in Family Medicine.

Duties

at the Hospital. Willingness to work at the PHC Clinics in the Sub-district. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to work within and lead a multi- disciplinary team to provide service delivery to clients in a Primary Health Care setting and on Hospital level. Knowledge of Community Orientated Primary Care approach and ability to engage all relevant stakeholders in the Ecosystem. Good communication, interpersonal relationships, exceptional leadership and conflict resolution skills and the ability to work in a high stress environment. Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
