Requirements

Grade 10 or ABET Level 4. Able to read and write. Working experience as cleaner in the public service will be an added advantage. Good interpersonal relations, Ability to work in a team. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles. Be Able to deliver service under pressure. Skills And Competencies: Knowledge of cleaning techniques (sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, polishing, disinfecting, waxing) for floors, offices, boardrooms, and restrooms. Proper application, and storage of cleaning chemicals and detergents.

Duties

Clean Windows, floors, dust and polish office furniture, consulting rooms, passages/corridors, emptying of all bins, cleaning of toilets and any other area in the offices building under the supervision of a supervisor. Operate and use cleaning equipment and chemicals. Safekeeping and handling of variety of aids in the cleaning of the premises. Keep the cleaning material and equipment clean and safe. Report defects noticed. Expected to carry out any other duty as instructed by the supervisor. 273
