Requirements

Grade 12 plus an NQF level 6 or National diploma in hospitality/ Tourism and Eco-tourism Management. Degree/ BTech in Hospitality/ Tourism and Eco- tourism will be an added advantage. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Hospitality/Tourism and Eco Tourism Management of which two (2) years must be supervisory experience in hospitality/ tourism industry. Applicants must be physically fit with No criminal record. Must in possession of a valid driver’s license with valid PDP. Skills And Knowledge: Problem solving and analysis, client orientation, customer focus and demonstrate communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislations affecting consumers and South Africa. Customer care. Presentation skills. Report writing. Communication skills. Negotiation skills. Duties

Manage and monitor the effective and efficient provisioning of hospitality and tourism services. Maintain the highest possible standard in relation to guests, staff, business associates, and professional contacts. Directs, organises, and controls the efforts of all personnel to operate in accordance with these objectives, ensuring the delivery of service is the primary focus. Ensure that the Resort complies with and adheres to all statutory law’s regulations. Responsible for maximising the sales potential of the Resort through the Marketing Plan and utilising all the facilities available through the LWR system. Implementing corporate objectives in sales, standards, and profitability by demonstrating one’s commitment to the financial, marketing and quality plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for management of the resort, for the day-to-day operations of the resort.
